BISS Am/Can Ch Wolf River's Moonlight Ridge WSXM CGC HCT JHD (Lightning) had a fantastic time at the 2004 Samoyed Club of America National Specialty. The National is an annual event lasting a week-long. It is attended by Samoyeds and their owners from all over the world. Some come to participate in various working events, others to look for breeding stock, and still others to show their dogs to the fancy. Breeder-Judge Mardee Ward-Fanning awarded Best In Show to Lightning! I was so proud to be out there with my boy when she pointed to him for this top honor. It was a moment I will carry with me forever.

The very same day, Lightning and Nimbus won the Brace class at the National! Then that evening, our boys were both awarded the SCA Top Sled Dog Award, tying with each other for this honor. This is the second year in a row that they have won the Brace and Top Sled Dog Award! We are so proud of our dogs!
