Lightning and Nimbus had a wonderful sled run at Diamond Lake on March 1, 2003. Our powerful team earned the 1st Place ISDRA Championship (National & International) for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 racing seasons in the 2-Dog Gig class. This is the first time an all-Samoyed team has ever won an ISDRA championship! They also won the Organization for the Working Samoyed Top Skijor & Top Sledding Team Awards all three years they raced, as well as the 2002, 2003, and 2006 Samoyed Club of America Top Sled Dog Award!
